Alerts When You Move to a New Home Now that we are getting settled into our new home, I've continued to make progress with safety precautions and alerts. As with many other areas, we have an emergency alert option we can sign up for. Once we are signed up, where ever we live, we will get alerts about emergencies and other important community news including severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons, necessary evacuation, and more.
