I loved when I could enjoy daily “walks” in our community pool with my senior mom and I have to admit, it really is quite refreshing as well as being great exercise. It's also quite fun to watch the kids in the pool, enjoying the cooling fun of playing in the water. Even after school starts, a quick dip in your own backyard swimming pool before heading off to homework can definitely revive our tired students.

As lovely as they are to look at, they might be a bit on the high-maintenance side of things? For our own homes, a simpler pool would be a ton of fun and much easier to care for. Terrific to enjoy with our kids and grandkids, dogs and granddogs.

Even if we're not in the market to buy a new home, it's still fun to explore what options are out there, see interesting and intriguing swimming pool design ideas, and even get some refreshing ideas for redecorating our own homes, isn't it? Enjoy!

This is awesome. I really wish I had a swimming pool right about now but our Iowa winters wouldn’t handle it.
I used to live in Sacramento. I really miss the shopping, the restaurants and my friends but not the traffic! I love my small town if not for that reason only. LOL!
Thanks so much for linking up to the #HomeMattersParty I hop you will join again next week!

Hi Michelle, I’m sorry I missed this til now. I know what you mean about the traffic. I’m next door in Roseville and, while we do have traffic, it’s not as bad as Sacramento, I think. 🙂 It definitely helps that it’s a smaller community. Thanks for popping by. 🙂
