Sharing One of Sun City Roseville Open Houses
Last week, I was busy having one of the delightful Sun City Roseville open houses so many enjoy visiting. I had a most enjoyable day talking to open house visitors looking for Sun City Roseville CA homes for sale including old friends and new. Even an adorable fur-visitor. I think he was hoping for some of the Ghiradelli chocolates I was sharing with visitors (nope, I know, NO chocolate for poochies no matter how cute. 😉 )
I was happily sharing a delightful home for sale with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 1334 square feet, Such a lovely Rosetree floor plan!
Love Camellias!
It was fun making a “virtual tour” video for you during this Sun City Roseville open house. When I did it, I spotted some cute flowers in back? They faked me out from the distance while I was making the video. I thought it was two different types of flower bush. Once I could get closer, I realized they were all camellias. Aren't they lovely.
Colorful Fall Foliage in Sun City Roseville
And oh wow! Check out this photo of the autumn leaves we enjoyed a few weeks ago in the midst of autumn. Delightful! Tho by the time I had this Sun City Roseville open house, winter was fully upon us and the leaves were mostly gone. 🙂
Ribbit
There's even a cute little pond with a waterfall and topped off by this adorable frog. Those are so relaxing to enjoy sitting by, aren't they? A sweet delight for those looking for Sun City Roseville CA homes for sale, don't you think?
Great aging-in-place, senior-friendly tub
My favorite thing inside the house was the very cool Safe Step Walk-In Tub. A good friend was out and about in Sun City Roseville looking at various open houses and stopped by mine and we were both admiring that tub! It seems like an especially handy help for our elderly parents, not to mention those of us helping them! They can definitely be great for aging in place!
A WOW! Garage
My husband would have loved the garage in this charming home. It has five big cupboards, a sink, and a work desk with drawers and even more little cupboards above and below. He could definitely have had fun, and plenty of storage, in there.
Walking Trails
This sweet home on Buggy Whip is located right across Del Webb Blvd. from Timberrose and just down the street from Blue Oaks in one direction and the Sierra Pines Golf Course, complete with snack bar, in the opposite direction. While this is not one of the lovely Sun City Roseville golf lots, it is very close to golf courses in each direction. As a walker, I especially appreciated this. I'm thinking there are just as many lovely walking options on this side of Sun City Roseville as the other side, closer to Pleasant Grove. In fact, I had fun chatting with one gal visiting open houses, including mine, as we raved about ALL the lovely walking trails that wend their way delightfully through Sun City, linking up with the Pleasant Grove branch of the bigger trails that go all through Roseville CA and beyond.
Some of the Sun City Block Christmas Yard Ornaments
Recently I enjoyed a NextDoor chat about some of the cute and unique Christmas yard ornaments and decor you might have spotted in various Sun City Roseville neighborhoods. Some of the neighbors on various blocks designed special wooden and other types of yard ornaments that match the names of their streets. When showing homes for sale on Buggy Whip, for example, I have more than once spotted the adorable horse and buggy wood ornaments that I'm guessing is used for that purpose.
I was delighted to realize, while chatting with one of the visitors to my open house – Joyce Rowan, that we had both been enjoying that very same chat online thanks to a great question she asked about the yard decor on Whistlestop Way! We had such fun talking about it and I learned of more neighborhood delights to check out next Christmas. Here's the list of ones I have seen or learned about from that conversation as well as walking around this beautiful master-planned retirement community:
- School Houses on Schoolhouse Lane
- Strawberries on Strawberry Station
- Railroad Crossing Signs on Whistlestop Way
- Geese on Goose Meadows Way
- Grapes on Napa Loop
- Lighted angels on Angelrock Loop
- It appears that for streets that didn't have a name that lent itself to something Christmas-y, they picked a fave item, like Candy Cane Lane for Green Grove Lane. I just discovered those this year while showing homes. Twas lovely!
- The cute snowmen on Dreamgarden Loop that I've enjoyed seeing every year.
Wow! I can't wait to discover more next year! Many thanks to Joyce and all the others who shared info about these on the Sun City Roseville NextDoor site. 🙂
Fun to Have Open Houses in Sun City Roseville!
All in all, it was quite a delightful afternoon, meeting new and old friends at one of these fun Sun City Roseville open houses and learning quite interesting and new-to-me facts and lore about this great master-planned retirement golf community of homes. Helpful to share with my real estate clients searching for Sun City Roseville California homes for sale! I hope you enjoyed a bit of that as well.
