Two More of the Smallest Sun City Roseville Floor Plans
Ready to learn more about the smaller Sun City Roseville floor plans? Great! In my previous article, I shared about the Willow and the Rose Garden. Today I'm sharing about the next two of the smallest Sun City Roseville floor plans – the Meadow and the Timberrose. Altogether, these are the four smallest Sun City Roseville floor plans. They are cute, compact, and great for the home-buying budget. But were many built and do many go up for sale? And what are they like? Let's find out.
Meadow Floor Plans in Sun City Roseville
According to the Sun City Roseville floor plan, the Meadow is part of the Sierra Casual Collection – just as the Willow floor plan is. Sun City described that collection as one “for those with a modern taste” as well as the fact that it “offers easy living.”. It is about 1,097 sq ft.
Notice I say about for each of these Sun City Roseville floor plans. As I mentioned in the previous article of this series, that's because each floor plan had different options. Some had very few, some had several. So each model can look quite different from others of the same floor plan – and yet very similar as well.
The basic Meadow came with 1 bedroom with den, primary bathroom, powder room, great room, dining nook, 2 car garage, a covered front porch.
The options expanded considerably for this floor model from the first 2 floor models and they included:
- the den could be a bedroom
- the patios could be covered
- fireplace
- 2.5 car garage
- bay window
- the powder room could be expanded to a full bath
- a den could be added instead of the front porch
For example, according to the printed basic floor plan, from the front door, you go straight into a generous-size “great room” and then continue on into the nook and kitchen. Returning to the front door, and heading to the right, the Meadow offers a den, a full bathroom, and the the primary bedroom with a walk-in closet.
Timberrose Floor Plans in Sun City Roseville
The Timberrose floor plan in Sun City Roseville is from the same family as the RoseGarden – the Rose Creek series. This series is described as being “more formal and traditional in style” and was “designed with an eye toward gracious living.” It is about 1,190 sq ft.
The basic plan Timberrose came with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, dining room, 2 car garage.
The options included:
- covered patio
- a fireplace
As you enter the front door, you walk into the entry, the living room, to the left or right is the kitchen and dining room. And if you keep walking, you come to the patio door. Going back to the front door, if you make an immediate right turn you enter the bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Once more at the front door, if you turn to the left you find the full bathroom and then turn left to the second bedroom.
My parents bought this model way back when they were first being built. They opted for the covered back patio and loved it! As I recall, they didn't pick the fireplace which gave them a bit more room. Of course, for them it was huge since they had spent ten years enjoying life in Hawaii in a teeny tiny one room and bathroom condo. (They both loved Hawaii and dad loved the condo – mom was VERY happy to have more room in Sun City. 😊)
How Many of These Floor Plans Have Sold in Past 3 Years?
I did a search for homes for sale between 8/17/19 and 8/17/22 – searching by the square footage listed on the floor plan as well as searching by the model name during that period. I've learned that when I need to search for a specific model, I need to put a wide variance of square foot sizes AND also do a separate search for the model name where it should go under builder model name AND in the public description (each search separately) as different agents put them in different spots. (When I'm selling one of these, I personally to put the name in both spots to get more eyes on the house and hopefully speed up its sale. 😀)
Meadows – approximately 26 sold in the past 3 years.
Timberrose – approximately 37 sold in the last 3 years.
So a good selection of each, it sounds like.
