Can you believe it’s April already – and part way through it even! As I walk around various Roseville CA neighborhoods – either for exercise or to share neighborhood information – I am in total spring flower bliss. We have such lovely spring flowers popping out everywhere including my all-time favorite, ROSES!
There are also some delightful examples of drought-wise, low-water and low-maintenance yard designs that are especially practical in the midst of the current drought situation. Did you know that the City of Roseville periodically offers rebates to help you if you decide to remove an area of grass and replace it with these types of yard designs? It’s currently on hold but will re-open in July and they ARE accepting applications for the wait list NOW. Full rules, details and applications are at KayeSwain.com/cash-for-grass-info (If this returns, it may appear on their residential rebates page. 🙂 )
REAL ESTATE UPDATE FOR WEST ROSEVILLE
The real estate market is definitely sizzling away! Here are just thirteen of the homes sold in West Roseville since April 1, 2015! :
As you may notice, only one is from our immediate Woodcreek Oaks area! In large part, that is due to so few homes being available to buy in this area. There are only THREE currently listed for sale within the (approximate) boundaries of the Woodcreek Oaks Neighborhood of Country Club, Whitstable, Baseline, and Pleasant Grove! In fact, lack of homes for sale is one of the biggest issues we are dealing with right now all over Roseville CA. Which means many homes are seeing multiple offers and sometimes prices are going higher than asked! Very encouraging news for sellers, don’t you think? 🙂
