HAPPY NOVEMBER – HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2015
WOW! I canNOT believe it's already the middle of November. At Roseville California Joys (one of my blogs AND my Facebook page and my Facebook group page), I'm writing about fun holiday happenings and things to do here in Roseville CA and the greater Sacramento area and still can't get over the fact that it's Thanksgiving in just a few days. The weather has definitely developed a chill as you can see by my weatherman granddog. Depending on which weather channel you are looking at, it might make it to 72, or 70, or maybe only 68.
The outlook is good for the rest of this weekend and early next week – then it looks to drop even chillier. Not that I can complain. Today, our Roseville California temperatures are 10 degrees warmer than one grandkids' home and 30 degrees warmer than another. Yet another reason to love it in this beautiful Sacramento area! And NO snow in OUR forecast. (Maybe some rain though, we hope!)

Per these numbers, our area continues to enjoy a strong seller's market. Combine that with continued low interest rates, and it's a period when buyers and sellers can both be happy. I did hear a news analyst on KFBK comment that he and others think interest rates will go up next month. Even if they do, it should be a slow rise. But if you are wondering if this is the right time of year to buy or sell, the answer is that it definitely can be. Buyers generally have less competition and sellers usually see more serious buyers visiting their home. Good news all around!

As you can see, in October 2014, 498 homes sold and in October 2015, 492 homes sold.
Average sales prices asked and sold prices received
The Placer County market sold prices overall are up .5% from last month and 6.4% from last year!

As you can see, in October 2014, 1,406 homes sold and in October 2015, 1,595 homes sold.
