Silverado Homes at Eskaton Village are such lovely homes with a delightful French flair. They only finished building them around 2015ish so they are still quite new looking in so many ways. I remember visiting them with my sweet senior mom while they were still being built. We considered moving there but the only one available at the time didn't have enough sun for my mom's garden that she loved. Turns out they have a community garden which would probably have worked well for my mom!
Years later, when I learned that, I wished I'd found out about it sooner. We ended up in another lovely 55+ active senior community that we both loved. But as my mom's health declined and I learned more about Silverado Homes and their wonderful aging in place options such as
- meals that can be purchased from the clubhouse or the assisted living community that is right next to the homes and delivered to you for free
- the monitoring of emergency pendants by the assisted living staff,
- a community bus that can take you to one of our local grocery stores one day a week and medical offices another day a week,
- a lovely pool
- and more
which provide for safe senior living here in Roseville, I realized I could have continued traveling to see grandkids for one extra year at least, leaving my mom home alone safely, which would have been wonderful for us both (she LOVED the photos I always brought back, after she chose to quit traveling).
As I've written before, this great Eskaton community has so many excellent aging in place options which help the residents, making things a bit easier for those who need it, while providing full independence and great activities for those who enjoy those options.
This is one of the five 55+ gated communities in our area. The others include the 55+ Solaire Heritage Homes in Roseville CA, the 55+ Springfield at Whitney Oaks in Rocklin, the brand new Heritage Placer Vineyards gated 55+ community in Roseville, and the brand new 55+ Esplanade at Turkey Creek in Lincoln right next door to Sun City Lincoln Hills. The other three – Sun City Roseville, Sun City Lincoln, and Del Webb The Club at Westpark are not gated. I do love a variety of great choices for all, don't you?
I'm going to be having an open house at one of the lovely Silverado homes this Saturday and thought I'd show it off to you as well with one of my virtual open houses. 🙂

Let's walk in the front door, shall we? Isn't that a lovely wall inset – I've seen them left alone like that. I've also seen some large, lovely pictures or other wall hangings in those. What would you put there?

As you walk into the living room you can see a ceiling fan with light above and lots of room…

…and oh my, so many of my clients complain that there aren't any lights in the ceiling but you definitely will like this house with the ceiling fan and light!
Check out this well-laid-out kitchen! The granite countertops are lovely and the gas appliances are great and in high demand. My last two clients were very dogmatic that they preferred gas so they'd be happy to see these. Personally, I prefer it as well! How about you?

A great area for your table and check out that built-in china cabinet. So pretty.

Let's visit the primary bedroom suite, shall we? Plenty of room, lovely windows, and it's the ever popular en-suite option complete with the bathroom and closet. Very nice!

And look at all the cupboard space in the primary bathroom! Always popular!
A bright and airy second bedroom – great for spouses who each prefer their own space. Or for visiting kids – grandkids – and other guests. Maybe even for a caregiver if that should ever be needed.

Here's the guest bathroom with a tub and a shower combination. Personally, I would replace the shower head with a shower hose. And it's nice to see the bath is low enough to be fairly easy to step over.

A lovely shady place to enjoy being outside, even on the hotter days, with that great shaded patio. (And for you gardeners, YES – there is a community garden you can enjoy as well).

When my senior mom had her hip replaced, she and I walked daily in a heated indoor swimming pool and the doctor was very impressed at how quickly she healed. If I ever have to have a similar surgery, I will be following her great example. And the neighbors in these lovely Silverado Homes at Eskaton Village can do so as well!

As you can see from the two photos below, there are plenty of other exercise options for the great neighbors who enjoy lovely senior living in Roseville CA in these delightful French-style homes.
This is definitely a beautiful and friendly community and a lovely home. It offers so many great aging in place options available to those who live here which enables them to enjoy active and safe senior living in Roseville CA.
