DIAMOND CREEK IN WEST ROSEVILLE CA
Diamond Creek is another lovely and newer subdivision area of West Roseville and home to La Provence Restaurant and other sweet delights.
PARKS IN DIAMOND CREEK AREA
It also boasts of William “Bill” Hughes Park (Hughes Park) which is located off of Blue Oaks Blvd and Diamond Creek Blvd in Roseville. (To map it, you can use the address 2796 McCloud Wy, Roseville, CA 95747) This lovely 31 acre park has a basketball court, 2 soccer fields, belt and bucket swings, 2 tennis courts, 5 picnic tables, a play area for school aged kids and grandkids, a restroom, and a dog park. And oh my, it has such a lovely walking trail and nature preserve. I loved standing there and just listening to all the birds. Here is a video I shot of just a SMALL part of this delightful walking area.
Another park in this area is Leonard “Duke” Davis Park, commonly known as Davis Park. It adjoins Diamond Creek Elementary School. This 4 acre park has a school-aged play area, swing area, covered picnic area, half court for basketball and an open turf area.
SCHOOLS IN AND AROUND THE DIAMOND CREEK AREA
Speaking of schools… Other near-by schools include Cooley Middle School and Woodcreek High School. Please know that when you are looking into moving (in OR out of Roseville CA), it's vital to call the appropriate school district and verify the correct schools for the new address. They aren't always the nearest school. They might not even be the same school as the current neighbors go to. You can find links to the area school districts and their phone numbers at my Pinterest Board, School Info.

DIAMOND CREEK HOME FOR SALE WITH SO MANY COOL POSSIBILITIES AND OPTIONS
I learned many new and interesting details about this lovely area while researching in preparation for marketing a lovely home for sale in the Diamond Creek subdivision and the Blue Oaks Neighborhood Association. It's a very cool 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home that has already sold. I enjoyed seeing it as it had so many intriguing options and possibilities, including:
A gorgeous swimming pool. A front room that could be a lovely formal dining room OR a formal living room OR be a fun game room like I saw at another home. A lovely great room – kitchen – entertainment center with a gas fireplace. So much storage throughout the home. A Butler's pantry. A huge kitchen pantry. A beautiful master bedroom with large walk-in closet complete with extra hanging poles up high – great for seasonal clothes. Master bathroom with walk-in shower separate from the bathtub – my senior mom loves those types as they are easier for her to use. A private, secluded 4th bedroom/office that is reached through the garage – this alone offers so many options. It could be a private guest room OR an awesome man/woman-cave OR a great craft room (my model railroad family members would love that as much as my quilting friends) OR a terrific option for a college student OR a handy “granny cottage” for an independent senior OR a secluded office – perfect for a small business. I'm sure a ton of my REALTOR friends would love that! I bet you could think of some intriguing options as well (yes, I'd love to hear them – just leave them in the comments or at my Facebook page. 🙂 ) Plus it's only a couple of blocks from Hughes Park – great for playing, walking, having extra room for huge get-togethers, and more. And that's not all. There are easy maintenance yards in the front and back as well as lovely flowers front and back! I especially appreciated the orange roses and the gorgeous camellias (I think they are camellias – they are a new and lovely variety to me) in the back!
