Such a delightful day in January 2017 when the Cresthaven Park was renamed Jack Wallace Park at Cresthaven in Roseville CA.
You can read all about it at Roseville California Joys. The Cresthaven neighborhood is a sweet area with homes, many of which are single story and feature mature landscaping
and small businesses, bordered (approximately) by:
- Dry Creek at Kenroy and Inglis at the top
- The railroad on one side and i80 freeway on the other side
- Vernon Oaks and Interstate 80 at the bottom which is the end of Roseville and leading into Citrus Heights
The Cresthaven neighborhood is in our Roseville Police Department's Beat 3 along with Cherry Glen Theiles Manor, Hillcrest, Cirbyside, and Folsom Neighborhood Associations. But it's in Roseville Fire Department's station 3 area along with Cirbyside, Meadow Oaks, South Cirby, Cirby Ranch, and part of Sierra Gardens Neighborhood Associations.
Cresthaven is located in the 95678 zip code of Roseville California.
Besides the newly re-named Jack Wallace At Cresthaven Park, Cresthaven includes several businesses including Shear Magic Beauty Salon, Sac City Ceramics – which I believe is now known as Express Yourself Ceramics and More., Mr. Subs Sandwich Shop – very tasty, and more.
Further up Cirby, you'll find Susie's Country Oaks Cafe in the Melody Lane Shopping Center. That's across Riverside from the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Offices.
On the next corner of Cirby and Riverside, you'll spot Taqueria Maria and other businesses and across the street from that is the Arco gas station and Sundance car wash.
Further up Riverside, you'll discover Roller King on the right (a fun way to spend time with your kids and grandkids),
and then you leave Cresthaven and enter the Cherry Glen Theiles Manor Neigbhorhood which sports the Riverside Pizzeria right on the border. I popped in there the other day to drop off a newsletter and oh my! It smelled SOOOO good! I watched as he sprinkled delish pepperoni on the pizza and wished I'd has the time to stay and eat a piece. 🙂
Cresthaven Neighborhood is also home to St. Albans Country Day School, a non-religious private elementary school that runs from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. It also features Valley Christian Academy and Tabernacle Baptist Church on Whyte Avenue, as well as St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church on Cirby.
For the most part, though, Cresthaven is a neighborhood of single family homes, halfplexes, and apartments. As you'll discover in my post at Roseville California Joys, it has a very active neighborhood association group. And, of course, it has the Jack Wallace Park at Cresthaven at 401 Community Drive. This five acre park includes a school-aged play area, swing area (with regular and bucket swings), a covered picnic area, baseball/softball field, basketball court, tennis courts and horseshoe pits.
Prices in the 95678 area of Roseville are generally among the most affordable, making it a terrific option for many, including first time home buyers.
Curious what Roseville homes for sale are currently available in the general Cresthaven area? Here are some in order of most recently listed:
