Buying a Home During Covid-Roseville CA
This Coronavirus or Covid or Covid 19 pandemic quarantine is a tough one, isn't it! It's impacting everything from births to weddings to deaths to LIFE in general and so much more! And yes! It's even impacting real estate, though so far in a mostly positive way! In fact, we still don't have enough homes to keep up with our buyers in spite of our Roseville CA covid restrictions! (Thinking of selling? Call me! 😉 ) People are house hunting for a variety of reasons – one main one being that being kept at home so long, they need more room for working at home, schooling at home, BEING at home! Guess we can call this the Roseville CA Covid Home Buying Season!
West Roseville CA Home Buying – Covid Style
And speaking of home buying in the midst of the Covid quarantine, I have an awesome home that is currently listed for sale that helps with a lot of the needs described above. And it might even give you the sense of traveling, when traveling is so difficult!
Have you ever heard of the New York row houses.
Or perhaps you know them as the New York Brownstones? Did you know that there are similar style homes in Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia (See the autumn photo above), San Francisco
and more! It's definitely a popular style of home we usually associate with big cities. But West Roseville offers many lovely homes in that same style, without the headaches of living in those big cities (particularly right now with all that's going on in so many of them including coronavirus!), climbing all those stairs, not to mention the price tags that can go with them! Check these articles out – Upwards to $2 million! $3.55 million!!!! $23 million!!!! Oyyyyy!!!! Happily, our price tags are MUCH better!
A definite advantage many of our row houses offer, including this beauty, is that they aren't all attached. Some are, including some in the Paseo Del Norte subdivision. But many are not.
Another positive of many of our Roseville CA row houses includes easy yard maintenance. For starters, this being Roseville California, our row houses often have that cool California stucco style that I think is beautiful and easy maintenance! Many come with a delightful patio . Big enough for a family BBQ not to mention the family dog. Small enough that no gardener is needed and no weekends are required to keep it in shape. But don't think that means the inside is small. Not even CLOSE. In fact, this particular row house has A TON of room! 1,811 square feet!
Cool Row Houses
Downstairs, you'll find a lovely living room/ dining room,
kitchen
all of which translates into a terrific great room effect, along with a powder room for guests. There's plenty of space to spread out.
Upstairs, you'll enjoy three good-sized bedrooms,
two full bathrooms, AND a gorgeous and large loft that allows for working on school work and/or your home office and/or exercising – maybe with an exercise bike.
When I first saw it, it had all three going on and room to spare!
Great Neighborhood Full of Shopping and More
This lovely K Hovnanian Paseo Del Norte subdivision is located next to one of Roseville CA's beautiful open spaces and offers easy access to our many great biking and walking trails. It's 1.5 Miles to Mahany Regional Park with the Roseville sports center, Martha Riley Library, Bear Dog Park, three kids parks – including their very cool universally accessible park, and a variety of sports fields including a soccer field. And right around the corner is the Roseville Aquatics Center!
The Raley's at Woodcreek Oaks shopping center is right across the street from Mahany Park – and less than 2 miles further is the Safeway shopping center, complete with gas station. For that matter, turn right out of the Paseo Del Norte subdivision, and you are only 4.6 Miles to the Sam's Club and Walmart shopping center with gas, shopping, and food delights including Panera Bread and Chick Fil A. Not to mention being surrounded by the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, and all the shopping and eating in that area PLUS all the shopping and eating a couple blocks further along Fairway!
Need a doctor? You're a mere 6.6 miles from Sutter Medical Center and 7.7 miles to Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center located in Roseville California, along with UC Davis Medical Group offerings as well.
With this sweet home, you might never have to leave Roseville, yet you can feel like you've been traveling to New York or San Francisco every time you come home. You can walk to your heart's content, including to the grocery store if you're able, exercise, run errands – faster and easier than the big cities! And get a GREAT PRICE, just by buying a home during Covid Roseville CA! Very cool indeed.

If you'd like to schedule an appointment to see this lovely home, give me a call – 916-768-0127 or email me at KayeSwainRE@gmail.com. If you'd like to see what other types of row houses Roseville has to offer, take a peek at this. At this moment, there aren't a lot. And I'll be honest, it's hard to set up a search for them as they don't have their own search and they are each beautifully unique. But this did find a couple to intrigue you. 🙂
