As you can see by this Roseville Area Real Estate 7-9-23 update, interest rates went up more than last week. I did a search back a bit – on 5/4/23, the Freddie Mac average interest rates were 6.39 and 5.76. That's a bit of a difference tho still under a full percent. And I'm hearing rumbles that the Feds do plan to raise the rates again – possibly the next time they meet? If you need to buy a house with a loan, NOW might be the best time to do so, before they go up even higher! And if you need to sell your house, I would do it now while there are still MANY buyers out there.
