BRAND NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION IN WEST ROSEVILLE CA 95747
The weather was a bit cooler today and I was enjoying being out and about looking at some of the new home construction sites all around in the Westpark area of West Roseville. It's been a busy summer and many homes have been sold out there. Driving through the various constructions sites, you see more and more signs saying sold, knowing that a lovely homes will be built there shortly and its new owners will be moving in right after.
Each time I drive over there, I see different moving trucks mixing with construction worker trucks and signs of business all around. One of my real estate clients is happily settling in, working through putting away one box at a time and holding off on the back yard for a bit. Another client just got their backyard finished and happily reported that all the empty sites around their home are now full of new neighbors so the area around them is much quieter.
SOMETHING TO CONSIDER WHEN DECIDING BETWEEN BRAND NEW AND EXISTING HOMES
That is one thing to consider when buying brand new homes in Roseville or beyond. If there are empty lots around the homes you are considering, you can expect a bit more noise, dust, and blocked areas for a couple of months, at least. We dealt with that with a brand new home we purchased in West Roseville some time back. It didn't bother us and my buyers are dealing with it just fine as well. The nice thing about so many of the new homes being built is that they are often so much quieter than older homes. That really helps. So I just kept the windows closed and the air conditioner on for a few weeks and eventually, all the builders had moved to another area and we had peace and quiet all the time. Well, most of the time. When the grandkids came over, it wasn't quite as quiet, but it was certainly a ton of fun!
WOODSIDE HOMES AT SOLAIRE
Today, I was excited to see a new sign going up for the new home community, Solaire, along with the sign for Woodside Homes. According to Rocklin Today, “Woodside is planning to build two communities with a total of 157 homes in Solaire, a new neighborhood located south of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and the Westpark master planned community.” These new and very interesting set of homes will be going into the area at Pleasant Grove and Westbrook, catty corner to the lovely brand new construction homes of KB Homes and across the street from the gorgeous Meritage Homes. The SacBee reports that, “Woodside’s planned Hillingdon community includes 71 homes, ranging from about 1,740 square feet to nearly 3,400 square feet, with up to six bedrooms. The planned Bromley community includes 86 homes ranging from about 2,200 square feet to almost 3,500 square feet, including properties with three-car garages and up to seven bedrooms.” WOW! Talk about great multigenerational options, among many other benefits. Very interesting!
As you can see by the top photo, though, they probably won't be the last new homes or new home community. There is PLENTY more open space to support brand new construction. I expect we will see more interesting brand new home developments going in over the next few months. It's not quite autumn and I'm already excited to see what will be popping up next spring. 🙂
